Advanced PowerPoint Exporter

FAQ

What do you exactly mean by "preserving layer structure?

It means that plug-in will export each layer as a separate picture. Firstly, it will detect area of the layer containing all pixels carrying information, select that area, copy it into new picture and save that new picture into new file.
After it finishes with all layers, plug-in will generate special HTML file containing all necessary information required about exported clip: position, transparency effects etc.
That file can be imported into PowerPoint directly. Your PowerPoint slide will look exactly as your Photoshop file but you will also be able to access each picture exported from layers separately.

How do I use Exported Presentation in PowerPoint?

You can open exported presentation directly from PowerPoint using standard File>Open command.

You may also wish to insert exported presentation into existing one as a new slide.

To do so, click on Insert menu, than choose Slides from Files. Slide Finder dialog pops up. Click on Browse button and navigate to the exported HTML file. Slide preview will be shown in Select slides area. Click on slide picture, check Keep source formatting box and then click on Insert or Insert all button.

Your composition will be imported into PowerPoint, and then you may further edit it, add transitions to clips, add interactivity or any other feature you would as if presenatation was originaly created in the PowerPoint.

Can I further edit imported slide in PowerPoint?

Yes you can. You can select every picture, move it, scale it or edit it in any other way you want, as if presentation was originally created within PowerPoint.

Does Increased Quality Also Mean Increased Size of Presentation?

Not necessarily! This tool usually produces even smaller presentations than you would by making them in PowerPoint from the beginning. That is because plug-in saves optimized pictures in format that preserves full quality.
